No.  But I am a professional conductor and I have been passionate about wine and food my entire life.  Before becoming a conductor, I worked as the Director of the Robert Mondavi Wine and Food Center in California.  Because I searched for the best Italian restaurants when travelling around the world, I wrote a blog called Authentic Italiano, where to find the best Italian food outside Italy.  My current blog about wine and music is called IamBacchus after a quote by Beethoven.  And I am the founder of Culinary Concerts, presented in my hometown of Chardonne, where I make the Conductor In The Kitchen videos. 

My soul is in Italy.  I conduct in Italy often, I have a home in Venice and I have taken many cooking classes.  Italian food is for me the best comfort food.  And it is fast and easy to make.  But soon I will also add main dishes, such as Lamb Chops Scottadito and Sole Sorrento.   As opera and the violin were created in Italy, it therefore seems a logical combination to make Italian food with classical music.  

I am often performing as a conductor with orchestras and opera houses around the world, particularly in Italy but also in Japan, Germany and elsewhere. I also present culinary concerts in Switzerland, and I plan on producing live Conductor In The Kitchen events.  Everyone loves watching cooking videos and competitions.  Why not in concert?  Sign up and stay tuned.  

To me the only measurement in life is love.  Put love in your cooking and it always works.  Its a good philosophy about everything in life.  When I finish my cook book, I will add measurements, but until then, just improvise until you say basta così!
